Small Children (Under 2 Years Of Age)

We transport small children without their own seats until they are 2 years old. Secured by a special belt – a so-called loop belt – they travel on their parents’ lap. The loop belts are standard equipment in our aircraft. You, therefore, do not have to register your requirements yourself.

Alternatively, it is possible to have your toddler travel in their own child seat. Book a separate child seat for this and familiarize yourself with the safety regulations for child seats.

Children (2 Up To And Including 11 Years Of Age)

Children between 2 and 12 years of age are treated like grown-ups with us: They get their own seat – with a 20 percent discount on the regular ticket price.
Of course, you have the option of using your own child seat on board. Find out about the safety requirements for child seats before departure. Please note that your child seat must have an approval label according to ECE R 44/03 or ECE R 44/04.

Children Traveling Alone (UM Service)

Children from 5 to 17 years are allowed to travel alone with us. Our care is compulsory for children aged 5 to 11 . Children from 12 to 17 years of age may travel alone with parental consent, but may also use the UM service. In the case of childcare, our ground staff receives your child at the departure point and our flight attendants and the ground staff at the destination ensure that the little passengers arrive safely.
